FRESNO, Calif. – As the collegiate baseball season comes to a close, summer ball is underway for six Diamond 'Dogs playing in leagues across the country.
BJ Rodriguez, Outfield/LHP, Anchorage Glacier Pilots (Alaska Baseball League)
Originally listed as an outfielder, BJ Rodriguez became a staple on the mound for the Bulldogs in 2025 and will spend the summer playing for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in the Alaska Baseball League. He made 13 appearances on the mound and had a 3.93 ERA. At the plate, he had four hits and four RBIs.
Owen Faust, Infield, Kelowna Falcons (West Coast League)
After the conclusion of his freshman season, Owen Faust is headed to Kelowna, British Columbia, to play for the Kelowna Falcons, a member of the West Coast League in the North Division. Faust split the starting shortstop position in 2025 with senior Lee Treviño. In 39 games played, he accumulated a .308 average with 33 hits and 12 RBIs. Defensively, he had a .952 fielding percentage with only four errors in 83 chances.
Cayden Munster, Infield, Victoria HarbourCats (West Coast League)
Soon-to-be redshirt-sophomore Cayden Munster is headed to the Victoria HarbourCats in the West Coast League, North Division. Munster served as the Bulldogs' primary first baseman in the 2025 season after redshirting in 2024. He played 52 out of 60 games for Fresno State, starting in 47. He hit six home runs and had a .233 average in his first season on the field.
Tyler Patrick, RHP, Victoria HarbourCats (West Coast League)
Valley Native Tyler Patrick made an immediate impact on the Bulldog bullpen in his freshman campaign in 2025 and is now joining his teammates in Victoria to play for the HarbourCats this summer. He had the second-best ERA out of the Diamond 'Dog bullpen at 4.26 in 38.0 innings pitched. He struck out 27 batters as a true freshman and limited opponents to only 18 earned runs.
Jett Ruby, Infield, Victoria HarbourCats (West Coast League)
Following his third season on the Fresno State roster, Jett Ruby is headed to the Victoria HarbourCats, joining Patrick and Munster. Ruby was a clutch-hitter for the Bulldogs and made a huge impact with only 57 at-bats in the 2025 season. He had 16 hits during the Bulldogs' championship season and hit his first career home run against Pacific in Fresno State's final home game of 2025.
Jared Galang, RHP, Ridgefield Raptors (West Coast League)
Jared Galang was new to the Bulldog roster in 2025 as an incoming freshman and is now spending the summer on the roster for the Ridgefield Raptors in the West Coast League South Division. Galang pitched 18.2 innings for the Bulldogs and struck out 16 batters in 17 appearances.
