Tempe, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is pleased to announce the 2025 ITA Division I Women's Regional Award recipients on Tuesday morning. Fresno State's Yinglak Jittakoat was named the ITA's Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award for the Northwest region.
Each year the ITA recognizes coaches and student-athletes for their excellence both on the court and in their communities throughout the season.
This year Jittakoat dedicated her time to working youth camps with the Fresno Unified School District summer and winter camps. Where she introduced tennis to over 150 middle school students. She also worked with an adaptive sports clinic with the local children's hospital in Fresno, Valley Children's. This adaptive sports clinic was held weekly at the Fresno State tennis facility. Jittakoat put in over 50+ hours of community service with this program.
Jittakoat graduated with a 4.0 gpa and earned her Masters of Arts in Education and with the option in Curriculum and Instruction from Fresno State this spring
