Moore elevated to associate head coach

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State swimming and diving head coach Jeanne Fleck announced that assistant coach Taylor Moore has been named as the program's associate head coach on Friday afternoon.

Moore will enter his fourth year with coach Fleck in the upcoming 2025-26 season and his first stint as an associate head coach.

"Taylor has been a great complement to me as a coach," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "He brings knowledge and energy to our program. The longer we can keep him here the better."

Moore aided Fleck into another stellar season that included a program best third place finish at the 2025 Mountain West Conference Championships, a first-time conference champion in the 100-yard breaststroke, three NCAA qualifiers and all Bulldogs marking season bests.

Prior to his time with the Bulldogs, Moore spent three seasons at the University of the Pacific. During his time at UOP, Moore helped the Tigers to an Olympic Trials qualifier, three NCAA B-Cut qualifiers, a school record holder and 38 Top-10 all time marks in program history.

After graduating from Pacific in 2015, Moore came back to Stockton as a volunteer assistant for the 2017-18 year that saw five NCAA qualifiers and 12 school records broken for one of the best mid-major swim programs in the country.

The Sacramento native spent five years as a student-athlete in the Pacific Swim and Dive program, highlighted by a school record in the 800 Freestyle Relay. Moore was also a two-time section champion at Jesuit High School in Sacramento and a six-time All-American as a prep.

Moore graduated from Pacific in May of 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Communication.
