COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State Baseball's Sky Collins was tabbed Mountain West Player of the Week for the first time in his career following his performance in the Bulldogs' sweep over New Mexico.
Collins had a big week for the Bulldogs, hitting .500 in four games for the 'Dogs.
He went 8-for-16 on the week and 7-for-13 in the Bulldogs sweep over New Mexico, batting .538.
In Sunday's win over New Mexico to clinch the series sweep, Collins hit his third career home run.
Against the Lobos, Collins had a .846 slugging percentage and .538 on-base percentage, totaling four runs and seven RBIs.
He also successfully snagged two bases in two attempts this week.
As the starting center fielder, Collins had a perfect fielding percentage with 7 putouts.
