COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the third time this season, Fresno State's Elijah Price was named Mountain West Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week. The Bulldog is one of two players in the conference to earn Freshman of the Week honors three times.
Last week, Price averaged a double-double with 14.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game as Fresno State went 1-1.
In the Bulldogs' 62-58 win over Wyoming, the Long Beach product registered 16 points and 13 rebounds. The 16 points matched his career high. His 13 rebounds helped Fresno State hold a +12 advantage on the glass, the team's largest differential this season in a game.
At San Jose State, Price posted 13 points and 10 rebounds. The redshirt freshman also had three blocks against the Spartans.
The double-doubles were Price's ninth and 10th of the season.
