PALM DESERT, Calif. — The Fresno State women's golf team wrapped up the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic in 17th place, posting a 57-over-par 909 (308-303-298) at Monterey Country Club.
Leading the Bulldogs and shooting a 1-under-par in the final round, Katelyn Lehigh finished the tournament in sixth place. Lehigh earned her first Top 10 finish of the season, shooting a season-low 3-under 210. The junior recorded the third Top 10 finish by a Bulldog this season.
On Monday, Amelia Garibaldi ended the day at 1-over, followed by Vunnisa Vu two strokes behind at 3-over-par. Both Garibaldi and Vu had their best round on Monday, and moved up the leaderboard for the final standings. Ashley Tarkanian and Motoko Shimoji shot 11-over-par in the final round.
