Eleven Bulldogs earn All-Mountain West honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State had 11 players selected to a 2024 All-Mountain West football team on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs saw three players earn first team recognition in wide receiver Mac Dalena, linebacker Tuasivi Nomura and cornerback Cam Lockridge.

Defensive end Devo Bridges and linebacker Malachi Langley earned a second team nod, joined by Jalen Moss as a punt returner.

The Bulldogs' honorable mention picks include defensive backs Dean Clark and Al'zillion Hamilton, quarterback Mikey Keene, wide receiver Raylen Sharpe and offensive lineman Mose Vavao.

Fresno State had first team All-MW selections for the first time since 2022.

Fresno State's 11 selections were its most since 2022.

Of the 11 selections, six began their careers at Fresno State – Dalena, Bridges, Langley, Moss, Hamilton and Vavao.

Of the 11 selections, seven completed their final season of collegiate eligibility in 2024.

All four team captains from 2024 earned all-conference honors in Keene, Bridges, Nomura and Vavao.

Fresno State's quarterback has earned All-MW honors for five straight seasons.

Mac Dalena, Tuasivi Nomura, Cam Lockridge, Dean Clark, Al'zillion Hamilton and Raylen Sharpe each earn All-MW honors for the first time in their careers.

Keene, Vavao and Bridges were each preseason All-MW selections in 2024.

Nomura becomes Fresno State's first first team linebacker since Mykal Walker in 2019.

Nomura and Langley both being on the first or second team marks just the second time since joining the league that Fresno State has had two linebackers on the first or second team. The duo joins Mykal Walker and Justin Rice who were both first team picks in 2019.

Lockridge is the first Bulldog corner selected to the first team All-MW team since Tank Kelly in 2018.

Moss is the first punt return selection since Nikko Remigio in 2022. He is just the second returner selection since the Bulldogs entered the Mountain West.
