Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese responded after being the target of trolling led by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy following her 22-rebound performance in a 77-75 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday (August 25).

"If it was easy, everybody would be doing it. We good! #skytown," Reese wrote on her X account.

Reese also scored 11 points, finishing Sunday's game with her 22nd double-double in 29 career games, however, was criticized for her shooting performance, having averaged 25% from the field on 4 of 16 shooting. Portnoy shared a video of Reese missing a wide open 3-point attempt with a sarcastic, "Nothing but net!" and another showing her missing multiple layups while a teammate was open for a 3-point attempt.

"Great kick out for the wide open 3!" Portnoy wrote.

Portnoy has criticized Reese in the past amid his apparent favoring of her longtime rival, Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark, dating back to their collegiate careers. Reese became the first player in WNBA history to record 20-plus rebounds in three straight games, having previously set the league record for consecutive double-doubles in 15 games.
