US rower Kara Kohler has qualified for her third Olympic Games, set to compete in Paris 2024. The 33-year-old athlete from Clayton, California, previously represented the United States in the 2012 and 2020 Olympics. Kohler secured her spot on the team in the single sculls event, marking her second consecutive Olympics in this category.

Kohler, a University of California, Berkeley graduate, has been recognized for her athletic achievements, earning the title of 2019 USRowing Female Athlete of the Year. Despite the pressures of competition, Kohler credits her parents as her most influential supporters. "Theyā€™ve stood by me through all my pursuits, athletic, and whatever else Iā€™ve been doing," Kohler told CalBears.com. Her mother, Caryl Kohler, expressed immense pride in her daughter's dedication and hard work.

Kohler's Olympic journey began with a bronze medal win in 2012. As she prepares for the Paris 2024 Games, she remains hopeful for another podium finish.
