(VIDEO SEGMENT ABOVE)

Last Week's Blazin' 5 record: 3-3 (Colin made a bonus pick in Week 4)

2021 Blazin' 5 record: 9-12)

Eagles (1-3) at Panthers (3-1) (SPREAD: CAR -3)

“I like Carolina here and I like the number a lot, -3. First of all, Sam Darnold didn’t play great against the Cowboys but he’s been wildly productive, he had four touchdowns – two running and two passing, and five rushing touchdowns this year. Christian McCaffrey is back and it looks like he’ll play. But the Panthers defense has been the story, it has been excellent this year and I feel like they were embarrassed by their performance last week. Don’t forget that they can really ball. The Eagles have lost three straight and their defense is falling apart. They’ve allowed 40+ points in back-to-back games, and the Eagles o-line is missing FOUR starters this week. It’s the second straight road game for the Eagles, I like Carolina to win and cover, 27-20, Panthers.”

Colin's prediction: Panthers 27, Eagles 20.

Colin's pick: Carolina -3

Packers (3-1) at Bengals (3-1) (SPREAD: GB -3)

“UPSET ALERT. I’m going to take the Bengals +3, I’m betting the money line. Joe Burrow has won back-to-back games for the first time in his career. Notice the protection? Burrow was sacked just once over the last two weeks and he’s really blossomed, all his numbers are exceptional. Ja'Marr Chase is another Bengals draft pick on the offensive side that has hit. The Bengals defense now? Last year was last in the NFL in sacks, this year top 10 in the NFL in sacks, they’re getting pressure. Jaire Alexander could be out for the Packers, maybe the best corner in the league, and Green Bay’s red zone defense has been awful. Of the 11 trips against their defense in the red zone, people have scored on ALL of them, that’s the worst in the league. UPSET, Bengals 28-27, their biggest win in years.”

Colin's prediction: Bengals 28, Packers 27.

Colin's pick: Cincinnati +3

Dolphins (1-3) at Bucs (3-1) (SPREAD: TB -10)

“I’m going to take the Dolphins +10. I’m sorry, but Tampa Bay is not good enough to give up 10 points. Gronk is OUT, Tom Brady didn’t play well last week without Gronk, he’s his security blanket. Three of their top 4 cornerbacks from Week 1 are all OUT. They’re banged up on the back end, and by the way, this Bucs defense, look at the numbers. [Last in passing yards allowed, tied for last in pass TDs allowed, 28th in third down percentage, tied for 25th in Big Plays allowed] You know I love Todd Bowles but they’re not playing well and they’re not getting a pass rush. The Dolphins have 34 quarterback hits this year, second in the league. Tampa wins, but I think it’s ugly, played between the twenties, and I’m not surrendering 10 points. I’ll Miami +10, they’ll lose 24-20, but it’s too many points for a team in Tampa who is not playing particularly well.”

Colin's prediction: Bucs 24, Dolphins 20.

Colin's pick: Miami +10

Browns (3-1) at Chargers (3-1) (SPREAD: LA -2.5)

“This is a VALUE pick. Cleveland played very poorly on offense so everybody now doubts them. The Chargers won a standalone game on Monday so now they’re OVERVALUED. The bet is the Browns here +2.5. The stadium is going to be 50/50 Browns fans. The defense for the Browns is coming into its own [4th in points per game allowed, 2nd in yards per game allowed, 2nd in yards per play allowed], but this game is really simple: the Browns have the number one rush offense in the league and the Chargers have the fourth worst rushing defense. Cleveland will control the clock and therefore I like the pick. The Browns win a close one. You know I like the Chargers but I think they’re overvalued by the line in this spot, Browns 27-26.”
Colin's prediction: Browns 27, Chargers 26.

Colin's pick: Cleveland +2.5

Bills (3-1) at Chiefs (2-2) (SPREAD: KC -3)

“This could be a blow out to me. Folks, we’ve got to be honest about Kansas City, they’ve got problems defensively. You’re talking about a Buffalo Bills team that GETS three points?? Their defense, and they’ve really worked on this, Sean McDermott, a defensive coach, their last two drafts they really tried to patch up their defensive front. It is working, takeaways they’re 1st in the league, and their passer rating defense is 1st in the league. The Chiefs win against the Eagles last week was their first win by over 6 points since Week 8 of last year. The Chiefs can’t stop anybody! The Chiefs are 31st in scoring defense and allowing 7 yards per play. That’s something that Vegas pays attention to. I like Buffalo here and I think they can win it by more than this. I’ll take the three points, Buffalo, 36-28.”

Colin's prediction: Bills 36, Chiefs 28.

Colin's pick: Buffalo +3
