Jason Whitlock Says Carson Wentz Should Force Himself Out of Philadelphia

Jason Whitlock: “I am someone who watches a lot of Carson Wentz and I am intrigued by all the criticism he takes. Nick Foles won the Super Bowl there, and then a wide receiver repeatedly took shots at him and started a narrative that he’s not popular in the locker room. I’m just telling people – WATCH THIS DUDE PLAY. Watch the actual game and see what he’s dealing with in terms of no offensive line support. The way in which he battles and competes, getting within a two-point conversion of sending that Ravens game to overtime; don’t bet against Carson Wentz – he’ll figure out a way to make that a one possession game. I’m really high on him, and I think he needs to get the hell out of Philadelphia. If he can get to Indianapolis next year, or Cleveland next year, I think that guy is the next Ryan Tannehill of football. And he will be better than Tannehill. People want to run him out of town, and they think Jalen Hurts is better. Let Carson Wentz get to a place with an offensive line, and a couple wide receivers, and he will be one of the top 3 or 4 quarterbacks in the NFL.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Jason Whitlock join Clay Travis on Outkick the Coverage to explain why he thinks Carson Wentz is one of the most alarmingly underrated quarterbacks in the NFL, and why he needs to ‘get the hell out of Philadelphia.’

Check out the segment above as Whitlock details why he thinks Wentz would flourish into one of the three or four best quarterbacks in the NFL if he can find himself in a better situation than Philly, and in front of a fan base who would actually respect him.
