Bad Santa Rips Off Beard, Swears At Kids at Christmas Event in England

bad santa rips off beard, swears at children at Christmas village event in England

Jolly ol' Saint Nick wasn't so jolly at a Christmas event in the English town of St. Ives, Cambridgeshire on Sunday after a fire alarm prompted the world's most famous elf to burst out of his grotto, rip off his beard and scream at children to "get the f**k out!"

The incident began after a fog machines at a nearby, 'family-friendly rave' event set off the building's fire alarm, causing an evacuation of the building.

As parents and children were attempting to evacuate, the Bad Santa reportedly burst into the room and began yelling and swearing at people to leave, witnesses say.

"He came changing (sic) in, ripped his hat and beard off in front of 50 odd kids and started shouting and swearing at people to leave," a customer who was at the event wrote on Facebook.

"You should be ashamed of yourself acting like that in front of children. There is no way he should be allowed near a child," the post added.

Another parent who witnessed the frantic Father Christmas told Cambridgeshire Live that, "People were in the process of vacating the building and in came angry Santa swearing, using the most vile language, ripping off his hat and beard with steam literally coming from his ears. (I’m) not too sure why he was so cross?”

The event's organizers released a statement apologizing for the Bad Santa writing that "Santa was upstairs in his grotto, an event organised by Festival Events St Ives (a voluntary organisation) and immediately assisted in the evacuation of the building," event organizers wrote on their website.

There's no word on whether Santa will be returning for this weekend's events.
